Introducing ROOTA's Transformative Greenhouses: In our ongoing commitment to the Zabaleen community, this year, we proudly unveil the Greenhouse Project. Four innovative greenhouses have been established, cultivating an array of fresh vegetables to provide healthy and organic meals for the residents. This initiative addresses immediate nutritional needs and contributes to the well-being of those combating anemia, ensuring they receive the nourishment essential for a healthier life. Additionally, the greenhouses symbolize a remarkable transformation from a once-neglected corner of town burdened by years of accumulated garbage.
With 250 indirect beneficiaries and 35 direct beneficiaries, ROOTA's Transformative Greenhouses stand as a beacon of positive change, fostering sustainability and well-being in the community.

As the situation of the pandemic is continuing we aspire that you partner with us to help this marginalized community. The looming effects of the pandemic is still prevailing and is continuing. The situation is bleak and we hope you will choose to partner with us to help this much needed families.
A good segment of this vulnerable population is day workers living from hand to mouth, relying on their daily wages. As a consequence of government orders to remain at home, these families no longer have any income; many are now forced to eat from the waste they collect and sift through trash to feed their families.
We are seeking your continued support to provide the basic necessities of life, including enough food for the vulnerable, especially during this difficult time. We are looking at supporting this year also another 1000 families in 2021 by providing them with L.E.400 per month equivalent to CAD30. One hundred percent of all proceeds will go to obtaining food materials, immediately, from the local market. Trained and well-geared healthcare personnel will distribute boxes filled with food to those families in need. We thank you for any donation you can provide as well as all your continued support.
